And were trailing 3-1 in last year’s A.L.C.S. 3 one sided victories for Boston, and Cleveland was suddenly eliminated. Tampa has beaten them badly at Fenway twice in a row. I feel Boston wins tomorrow,

 

and the series return to Tampa on Saturday. I’m still shocked by Tampa, but they obviously belong.

This is a ratings loser. Game 1 was the second lowest rated world series opener in history. If you’re a baseball fan, it’s well worth watching.

 

The Phillies last won the Series in 1980. Tampa Bay, in it’s 11th season had never won more than 70 games.

Phillies dominated the 2 rounds of the N.L. playoffs.
